Located a 15-minute walk from Château Gaillard and surrounded by a large landscaped garden, Le Clos d'Amboise is built in a characterful 17th-century mansion. It offers free access to the outdoor swimming pool, open in summer, and to the sauna. All rooms are air-conditioned.
Au charme rabelaisien****
Located 20 minutes away on foot from Château Gaillard, this quiet, beautifully decorated hotel boasts a magnificent garden and a superb swimming pool.
La maison Rabelais****
Located a 20-minute walk from Château Gaillard, the hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool, garden, communal lounge and private parking.
Logis Hôtel la Brèche***
(Not visited) Logis Hôtel La Brèche offers excellent value for money (around €80 per night). Featuring a gourmet restaurant, it also has air-conditioned rooms and private parking. Located a 30-minute walk from Château Gaillard and 15 minutes from the town center, this option may be more suitable for guests with a car.

(Not visited) La Bonne Étape offers 7 rooms, including 4 with a private terrace. Prices are around €80–€90 per night. Located a 50-minute walk from Château Gaillard and a 30-minute walk from the town center, this option will be more suitable for guests with a car.
